Ariki was founded in 2016 by Kave Tamaariki a local Cook Islander and his wife Julie.

They wanted to share the beauty of our moana (ocean) and the magic of our turtles who live in the Avaavaroa Passage.

Working alongside Cook Island Tourism, Ariki has proudly signed the Memorandum of Understanding and we are committed to protecting and maintaining the environment and health of our turtles.
